Phase 02
Six planets that want to agree, in one sky shared by everyone who visits. Hang bells on their orbits; each rings when its planet passes. What you leave stays, fainter and fainter, for whoever comes next. It can play in the background.
how to play
- Tap an orbit
- Hang a bell there.
- Tap a bell you hung this visit
- Raise its note; past the top it starts again at the bottom. A bell that took a worn-out place keeps its note. Bells from an earlier visit wear like anyone's.
- Tap someone else's twice
- Wear it. It grows quieter, and once worn out gives its place to a new bell that keeps its note. A new bell rings ten minutes before it can be worn.
- Swipe across
- Strum the orbits you cross.
- Touch the sun
- It wakes for everyone: a wave of light reads the sky outwards, and every orbit's bells sound in turn. Then it rests half a minute.
- Drag a planet
- Pull it out of time. Flick it to leave it running fast or slow; its trail shows how fast. The others pull it back over minutes.
- Keys
- 1–6 choose an orbit, ← → move along it, Enter touches a place, Space strums, S wakes the sun.
how it thinks
- Nothing is undone, nothing stays loud. Bells fade and wear, but a worn-out bell leaves its note and a ring behind: every place remembers what rang there.
- You are never alone. The people who came before are still here, as the bells they hung.
- The room wants to agree; the music is in the disagreement. Left alone the planets fall into step. Pulled apart, they phase.
- Felt, never seen. No names, no cursors. You know others only by what they left and the orbits they strum.
- More people, more history, not more noise. Six orbits, every note in one key; a crowded orbit grows denser, never louder.
- An experience before a mechanism. Worth watching and hearing without being explained.
- Time is the material. A ring, a turn of twelve seconds, a bell fading over days, and the faint floor it never falls below.
